About RiverBasin News

RiverBasin News is the principal publication of the River Basin Management Society. RiverBasin News is produced quarterly and is one of the key means used by RBMS to deliver the technical, professional and networking needs of those interested in integrated catchment management.

RiverBasin News provides to RBMS members:

• outlines of technical papers,
• details of upcoming conferences, seminars and events of interest,
• discussions of ICM issues,
• committee information, and
• contact details for other RBMS services.

The format of RiverBasin News has been improved in 2001 to reflect the professional nature of the content and audience. RBMS is constantly seeking to improve services to members, and this new format is just one way we hope to achieve this.

Publication of RiverBasin News is accomplished through the work of the RBMS committee and our editor, edition requires many hours to source articles, photos and other information which is informative and interesting to our audience. We rely on the submission of articles from many and varied sources that may wish to:

• publicise new management approaches or developments in knowledge or technology,
• highlight and/or discuss a relevant issue,
• inform other practitioner’s of successes or problems,
• inform of upcoming events.

Submissions are always welcome and appreciated, as are suggestions for theme topics and further improvements. Read the guidlines for contributors before posting your work to us.
