The Society encourages membership from anyone interested in natural resource management, whether it’s through work, play or just general interest. The wider our membership becomes, the more we will learn from each other about better ways to manage our natural resources for the present and future generations. To encourage a broad membership the Society has a policy of low membership fees and, as far as practical, runs its conferences on a break-even or subsidised basis.
The Society has established the Catchment Management Research Foundation which has the role of:
Gifts to the foundation are tax deductible, which makes it attractive for donors looking to support worthwhile projects to improve the environment. The Society will fund all administrative costs for it.
